Andoni Aduriz



Andoni Luis Aduriz is a Spanish chef and owner of Mugaritz, a Basque restaurant in Errenteria, Spain. Mugaritz has maintained two Michelin guide stars since 2006 and was named the World's 7th best restaurant in the World's 50 Best list in 2019.

Aduriz was born in San Sebastián in 1971 and attended the Donostia School of Cuisine. He studied under Pedro Subijana, Juan Mari Arzak and Ramon Roteta and then moved to Catalonia in 1993 to work with chef Ferran Adria at El Bulli.

He opened Mugaritz in 1998. Beginning in 2011, the restaurant has been closed for four months each year to allow for work on research and development for the menu.

Helena Rizzo



Helena Rizzo (born 1978) is a Brazilian chef and restauratrice. She runs restaurants Maní (one Michelin star) and Manioca in São Paulo. Rizzo was elected Best Female Chef of the Year by World's 50 Best Restaurants awards in 2014. In 2019 Food & Wine magazine named Mani to their list of the 30 best restaurants in the world.

Born in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Rizzo began working as a model, then moved to São Paulo and became a cook in 1997. She did internships in Europe at the restaurants Sadler, in Italy and El Celler de Can Roca, in Spain. In 2006, when she returned to Brazil, opened restaurant Maní.

Massimo Bottura

Osteria Francescana


Massimo Bottura (born 1962) is the Italian owner and chef at Osteria Francescana, a three-Michelin-star restaurant based in Modena, Italy which has been listed in the top 5 at The World's 50 Best Restaurants Awards since 2010. He also  runs Refettorio, that he had established in Milan in 2015, now exists also in other countries, and went on to form the cultural foundation Food for Soul.

Bottura worked with Alain Ducasse at Le Louis XV in Monte Carlo in 1994, and in 1995 opened Osteria Francescana in his hometown Modena. The restaurant was ranked No. 1 in The World's 50 Best Restaurants awards in 2016 and again in 2018.

Mauro Colagreco



Mauro Colagreco (born 1976 in Argentina) is an Italian Argentine chef at the three-Michelin stars restaurant Mirazur in Menton, France. As a newly qualified chef, Colagreco headed to France and worked with Bernard Loiseau until his death in 2003. He then worked in Paris with Alain Passard at l’Arpège, Alain Ducasse at the Hotel Plaza Athénée and finally spending a year at Le Grand Véfour.

Colagreco established Mirazur in Menton in 2006. In January 2019 it was awarded his third Michelin star, and in June was elected the best restaurant in the world by the World's 50 Best Restaurants awards.
